Course Information
International Doctoral Program in Agriculture (IDPA) is a fully English-taught doctoral program that integrates the expertise of various departments within the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at National Chung Hsing University. The curriculum covers diverse fields, including ''Agricultural Production and Processing'', ''Sustainable Agriculture and Environmental Protection'', ''Plant Medicine'', ''Agricultural Economics, Marketing and Management'', and ''Smart Agriculture''.
In addition to the required and elective courses offered by IDPA, students may select English-taught courses across various departments within the College, according to their research interests and academic needs. Under the guidance of their advisor, students can design a specialized learning pathway. This flexible curriculum not only strengthens students’ interdisciplinary integration skills but also cultivates their leadership and problem-solving abilities in international agricultural research and practices.
